Jerry is a Pikachu raised by a group of Marill as one of their own. He's mildly insane. This is why I like him.
Signature Move: Grace of Thunder (Water)
Jerry got good at manipulating his limited water energy due to living with Marill. This move is an upgrade to rain dance, and replaces it. He sends a beam of water energy akin to the small beam in sunny day, which may be directed either at the sky causing a rain dance effect or at his opponent, causing no damage but bursting into water and making them wet as if they'd been dunked in water. Energy cost is 1.5x Rain Dance, usable twice per match. This has the effect of making electric attacks effect ground types normally unless they manage to dry themselves off, as stated in the ground type characteristics.

Thunderbolt to sweet kiss (projectile). Replace the sweet kiss with flinging a stone in the event of light screen.

As the combatants step to fight each other they each release their Pokeballs. From team Firewater we get a sigless and name-less Kingdra released into the water. From team Concept a Raichu by the name of Jerry appears.

The round begins as Kingdra takes the time to release fine Breath combined with Dragon energy at Raichu dealing a fair blow but unluckily for Kindra, causing no paralysis. Jerry responds to the blow delivered to it by crackling with electrical energy and releasing it in the form of a Thunderous Bolt. The attack hits Kindra and deals quite a blow but luckily due to it's dual typing not a super-effective hit. As the battle unfolds Kingdra makes his next move by Yawning at his opponent. At the same time Jerry the Raichu decides that even though they are the same gender a Sweet Kiss is in order. Both attacks meet their respective targets but unfortunately the only result is that Jerry looks a bit drowsy.

Results

Kingdra has taken a fair blow, quite a ways through his first quarter, energy use was decent.

Jerry took less damage than Kingdra, energy was a bit more intensive.

Concept 11-13-2010 03:53 PM

Charge beam to thunderbolt.

Firewater 11-13-2010 03:55 PM

Dive underwater to dodge, and after Thunderbolt, or when you think it's safe- Dragon Pulse him. obviously come back to the surface first.

no 3 mover. (though this shouldn't be one)

Firewater 11-13-2010 03:57 PM

perhaps it is.

M. M. 11-13-2010 05:30 PM

Continuing on from where he left off, Jerry decides it's time to fire off more electric energy. He begins to Charge the energy which gives Kingdra enough time to Dive into the rather shallow pool. Jerry finishes charging his Beam and then launches it at the pool concealing Kingdra. The attack strikes the surface of the water and is dispersed throughout the pool dealing very minor damage to Kingdra, however, it appears as if there is also no boost received.

After it having been quite some time since Kingdra has seen an attack he decides that now is a good time resurface but he's very wrong as he is greeted by a very nice Thunderbolt from Jerry. Seeking retaliation Kingdra launches a Pulse of Dragon energy which deals some good damage to Raichu as the round comes to a close.

Results

Both took more good damage this round with Raichu better off healthwise whilst Kingdra is better of energywise. Kingdra is into his second quarter while Raichu is barely above him.

Firewater 11-13-2010 05:31 PM

bleh.

Smokescreen. Dive to avoid attacks. if you're prevented from doing so- Bubblebeam

Concept 11-13-2010 05:43 PM

Uproar, then if you're suitably obscured so from his vision by smokescreen do it again.

M. M. 11-13-2010 06:07 PM

As the battle rages on, Kingdra decides to take a tactical stand point yet again by releasing a Smokescreen in order to veil himself. Jerry sees this and doesn't like it so he screams at the top of his lungs sending sound waves at Kingdra in the form of an Uproar. The attack hits it's target because it seems that Firewater's strategy has backfired, the Smokescreen is too thick for Kingdra to foresee any attack and thus is hit. Raichu continues his relentless onslaught with yet another Uproar to the defenseless Kingdra who still hasn't moved in order to evade any attacks. The attack hits it's mark yet again, and because Kingdra technically wasn't stopped by the Uproar so there is no response from him. The round ends with the Smokescreen still covering the pool.

Results

Kingdra has taken even more damage and is very close to the halfway point while Raichu escaped unharmed.

Kingdra also used a lot less energy than his foe and Raichu can visibly be seen panting now.

Concept 11-13-2010 06:08 PM

Hide behind a really large rock and wish.

Firewater 11-13-2010 06:11 PM

you're fresher. eh... anyway.

try a Surf Wave from where you heard the Uproar from, don't ride it though. then get to the bottom of the pool and Rest.

no 3 mover.

2 can play at this game.

M. M. 11-13-2010 06:27 PM

Jerry decides that he's inflicted enough damage upon his foe and decides to set up shop behind a rock, however Kingdra doesn't agree with his plan. Kingdra starts to churn the waters and makes a wave that looks suitable for Surfing on top of. Raichu sees the wave and is making his way over to the rock he is searching for but the surf wave manages to clip him if just a little a do some but not a terrible amount of damage. Kingdra satisfied with the results even though he cannot see what actually happened decides now would be a nice time to Rest and he sinks to the bottom of the pool as he enjoys his slumber. Jerry seizes the free time by making a Wish on a star up in space somewhere granting him a warrior-esque state of mind as the round comes to a close with the Smokescreen completely cleared by the surf.

Results

Jerry took enough damage to knock him into his second quarter while Kingdra wasn't harmed for a change.

Kingdra used a good amount of energy but is also resting at the bottom of the pool recovering energy at a good pace. Jerry has a Wish in place that should aid his energy.

Concept 11-13-2010 06:28 PM

No way in hell does Raichu with priority take longer to move a couple feet behind a rock than it takes a Kingdra to summon a surf wave and for the surf wave to cross the intervening space. Just... no. You can move a couple feet to behind behind a rock in a second easy. These things don't waddle, they move fast.

Firewater 11-13-2010 06:30 PM

...I did use less energy than you. and you barely got hit as it was.

Concept 11-13-2010 06:30 PM

You'd have to be dead of exhaustion not to be able to move a couple feet that fast.

M. M. 11-13-2010 06:31 PM

Kingdra is much more fresh than you, a large rock is a bit specific considering that Raichu is almost a meter tall. Also I said some damage, you barely took anything but you were so close to 3/4th that it knocked you under.

Concept 11-13-2010 06:32 PM

Eh whatevs. A tiny clip won't make any difference.

Firewater 11-13-2010 06:33 PM

eh. once you wake up...uh. Bubblebeam if you get a clean shot.

M. M. 11-13-2010 06:33 PM

Oh the smokescreen is starting to fade btw dunno if that affects your orders FW.

Concept 11-13-2010 06:36 PM

Would've thought surf would've swept smokescreen from its path.

Firewater 11-13-2010 06:37 PM

I figured that as well
I'm fine with the orders

Concept 11-13-2010 06:40 PM

Step out, so you can greet him with a thunder when he breaks the surface for bubblebeam.

M. M. 11-13-2010 06:50 PM

At the start of the round Raichu decides he's been hiding for long enough and it is again time to inflict more damage. He steps out from behind his rock as Kingdra finishes his rest recovering all the energy he lost last round and then some. As he surfaces Raichu is ready for this and begins to charge massive amounts of electric energy and shoots it skyward. The sky booms with Thunder as a huge bolt of electricity slams into Kingdra doing a lot of damage. Kingdra responds with a not-quite-so-powerful Bubblebeam attack which still hit's it's target dead on doing decent bit of damage.

Results

Kingdra has taken massive amounts of damage this round and he is very well under halfway. Raichu also took quite a bit of damage but not nearly as much he's nearing halfway.

Jerry used a lot of energy but thanks to the wish he isn't feeling the energy drain too much. Kingdra is a bit under what it was two rounds ago.

Concept 11-13-2010 06:56 PM

You've used one energy gaining and one energy using move in two rounds. I think we can step on the gas a little more.

Thunderbolt to secret power.
