http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon/120.png Tahno: Level 3 Genderless Staryu
Staryu (Water): Starmie and Staryu are, technically, blind. However, they use their senses, along with an excellent sense of touch, to detect opponents. Starmie and Staryu are capable of limited flight by using psychic energy. A Starmie or Staryu’s core is its most vulnerable point. While not as adept at psychic abilities as Starmie, Staryu are considered familiar with psychic abilities, and can use Psychic to lift Pokémon.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
Biography: Tahno is agile with a great sense of self. I'm amazed at how focused Tahno becomes during battle. His skills are very impressive; I was lucky to have caught him with my last net ball before I reached the next city. Something unsual about Tahno was the size of his ampulla, it seemed to have beneficial properties.

Special Training: Amplified Ampulla [WA]
Tahno can tap into ambient water that is decent sized and not at maximum energy through its ampulla so it will restore light amount of energy at the end of each round. Up to 1/3 of its total energy may be restored in this way. Polluted water will cause slower regeneration, with only minor energy restored, while purified or highly oxygenated water can allow for faster regeneration with mild energy restored. Only decent sized bodies of water such as a river or lake can trigger this effect. Rainfall and small puddles are insufficient. Tahnno cannot use Rest or use Double Edge.
Hidden Power: Fire

http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon/329.png Fang: Level 3 Male Vibrava
Vibrava (Ground/Dragon): Vibrava is capable of flying in the air with much ease. It flaps its wings quite fast, and any physical attack involving its wings will have a chance to make the opponent flinch. It can see in the dark.
[Ground]: Ground Pokémon are considered to be immune to electricity while standing on the ground. If a Ground Pokémon is in the air, they take 75% the normal damage from electric attacks. If a ground type is wet, electric attacks affect it normally (unless the Pokémon is naturally wet/slimy, like Quagsire).
[Dragon]: Dragons tend to be good swimmers and fliers. However, they hate cold weather.
Biography: Not Available
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Grass

http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon/093.png Yangchen: Level 3 Haunter
Haunter (Ghost/Poison): Haunter, while more solid than its preevolution and able to solidify, is composed primarily of gas, and prefers Gaseous or Ethereal over Solid. It may also go Invisible if required. Haunter's hands can move independently of it and can move with agility and decent speed. They are able to pass through solid objects even when Haunter is Solid or Gaseous, with somewhat more freedom to pass through objects than Haunter itself, allowing them to pass through thicker walls or other objects. Haunter’s Lick attack has a 50% chance to paralyze, instead of the usual 30%. Haunter is faster than Gastly and is able to levitate as high as its trainer is tall, but it is not as fast or agile as Gengar.
[Ghost]: Ghosts are resistant to attacks which induce confusion or other mental effects and are immune to telekinetic-based Psychic moves if not in the solid state (though will still take damage from Psychic moves regardless of state). They cannot be poisoned. Ghosts fight more enthusiastically at night and can see in the dark, though they are not put off by fighting in the day. Their fear inducing attacks are more effective than those used by other pokémon. Ghost-types take neutral damage from Normal, Fighting and typeless attacks in the ASB, as opposed to in the games, but some may change their state in order to evade certain moves. See Ghost Pokémon Information for details on states.
[Poison]: If not completely immune, poison types are highly resistant to poisoning.
Biography: Never a pacifist, Yangchen will do whatever it takes to defeat her opponent in a battle.

Special Training: Feel The Poison [PO]
All of Gastly’s poison moves deal 10% more damage, while consuming 10% more of energy.

Hidden Power: Dark

http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon/479-w.png Deska: Level 3 Male Rotom [Wash Forme]
Rotom [Wash Forme] (Electric/Water): In this Forme, Rotom has possessed a washing machine, having bonded with its electric motor. This is the second largest forme, being rather bulky. While it can levitate, it has a low flight ceiling of only three feet and moves primarily through erratic hopping and short bursts. While fairly slow, it is relatively agile, allowing it to make short, quick evasive movements. In this Forme, Rotom has two firing points. The first and primary is the pipe at its side, from which it fires its Hydro Pump. Attacks fired from the pipe allow for faster firing and better aim. The second is from its door. This allows it to generate energy attacks from a protected point, but will leave it vulnerable for a short time when firing the attack. Attacks that hit the inner portion of the appliance will deal slightly more damage than normal. In this Forme alone, Rotom is capable of using Hydro Pump.
[Electric]: Electric types, in general, prefer areas where their electric attacks are most accurate. Thus, while hot temperatures don’t bother them, the fact that heat refracts electricity doesn’t appeal to them.
[Water]: Water Pokémon are able to hold their breath and/or breathe under water. The time varies, from about half an hour to one hour for reptilians and mammals, and indefinitely for fish and squid like Pokémon. They are also, generally, good swimmers.
Biography: Not Available
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Fire

http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/...emon/115-E.png Hei Bai: Level 3 Male Kangaskhan
Kangaskhan (Normal): Kangaskhan come in both genders, though females are more likely to have babies (almost 100%) than males are. Along with battling, a Kangaskhan is most concerned about its child. If an opponent injures the child, Kangaskhan will go into a blind rage against them, which will last until either the offending Pokémon or Kangaskhan is unconscious. During this time, Kangaskhan’s attack is doubled, at the expense of a halved defense.
[Normal]: Normal types can use the greatest variety of attacks in the league: they pay for this, however, by having less type energy. In the ASB, Normal types take 100% damage from Ghost type moves.
Biography: Not Available
No Signature Move

Hidden Power: Ice

http://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon/452.png Hiroshi: Level 4 Male Drapion (Uplevel)
Drapion (Poison/Dark): Drapion is able to rotate its head 360 degrees.
[Poison]: If not completely immune, poison types are highly resistant to poisoning.
[Dark]: Dark types can see in the dark. They prefer to fight at night, however light does not adversely affect them.
Biography: Not Available.
No Signature Move.

Hidden Power: Water
Yangchen, you are up!

Akanjão 02-11-2014 12:30 PM

You know, I hate Ghosts. If Steel still (?) had that resistance...
Go for it, Stern!
Lead with Round followed by Swift!

EmeraldGoblin 02-11-2014 12:32 PM

Start off with a thunder punch. Then use Energy ball.

Akanjão 02-11-2014 12:35 PM

JUST BECAUSE I'D EDIT! Ahhhhhh, why don't I ever pay attention!!! *cry*

Connor 02-12-2014 09:33 AM

The floodlights are left switched on, as our two combatants slowly walk out onto the football field. The pitch below is well kept, providing a stable foot hold for any fighters. The sky is lit a warm, orange red as the Sun slowly rises into view. Our trainers spent a while reflecting on the beauty of their surroundings, before each turning to one another, respectful nods exchanged. They begin to ponder their first choices, and the first trainer sends his Pokeball spinning through the air. The two toned orb splits open, ejecting an onrush of shining red energy. The energy writhes and fluctuates in the air momentarily, before quickly adopting the shape of a Haunter, named Yangchen. He drifts through the air lazily, one eye closed and the other intently staring at the opposition trainer, wondering what his foe will be. The trainer indulges him happily, sending his own Pokeball spinning forward, the capsule this time revealing the distinct visage of a Staryu, named Stern. The two Pokemon turn to face each other, a wide malicious grin etched on Yangchen's face.

Stern is the first of our combatants to enact their orders, the Staryu's gem shining brilliantly as it begins to screech a horrendous song. The Round of noise travels swiftly towards Yangchen, and the Haunter frowns as the energy imbued within it begins to rack his system. His trademark grins quickly returns however, as he slowly coats his right fist with Electric- type energy. Moving swiftly towards Stern, he rams his fist sickeningly into the Staryu's gem, soliciting a sharp screech of pain. Taking some time to recover from the Thunderpunch, Stern eventually sends a stream of small stars cerated out of energy towards Yangchen, and the Haunter once more grimaces as energy is forcibly inserted into his body. Shaking the Swift off, he once again holds his hnds out before him, this time crafting a small Ball of Grass- typed Energy. He chuckles to himself, before launching the small sphere towards Stern, who can only wait in anticipation as the orb slams into him and sends foreign energy coursing through his system once again.

Yangchen took two solid hits this round, but he has a defined lead over Stern, who is already into his second third. Energy wise, both remain looking fresh.

EmeraldGoblin 02-12-2014 09:56 AM

Clear Smog, follow up with an Venoshock as you ascend. If he uses psychic, replace either one with spite once.

Akanjão 02-12-2014 02:20 PM

"Secret Power! Get on Venoshock's way with a Scald!"

Connor 02-12-2014 03:11 PM

Yangchen begins the round by spitting a nasty looking glob of poison at Stern. The Staryu has little time to react as the globule slams into it, the Clear Smog having no pronounced detrimental effects on the Water- type. Stern proceeds to coat one of his arms in a light pink aura, before charging towards Yangchen by spinning through the air. The arm slams into the Ghost- type, and while Stern continues spinning through the air, the energy generated stays behind. Yangchen grimaces as the Secret Power rushes through his system, although it mercifully leaves him without any hindering effects. Yangchen responds in kind, slowly drifting backwards as he shoots out a horrible green substance. The Venoshock strikes Stern solidly, but the attack is quickly shaken off, and the Staryu lets loose an irritated noise. Spewing forth a stream of water, Yangchen screeches in pain as the Scalding blast burns through his body. The round ends with Yangchen suspended a few feet in the air, out of physical range of Stern.

Stern is hovering just above the midpoint, while Yangchen is gradually approaching the end of his first third. Both are beginning to tire somewhat, Stern more so.

Akanjão 02-12-2014 04:54 PM

Round, Twister! If he uses a Super effective move, switch either for ST Agility to dodge!

EmeraldGoblin 02-12-2014 05:34 PM

Let the round hit you. Dazzle in it. Then allow to twister to shake your spirits. After all that is done, quickly rush in for a thunder punch.

Connor 02-12-2014 05:39 PM

The round begins with Yangchen patiently hovering, refusing to come into range for Stern. The Staryu makes a disgruntled noise, before once again beginning to sing it's discordant Round, the energy infused sound waves permeating through Yangchen's body and causing him to grimace in pain. The Haunter continues to wait, a malicious grin slowly etching itself onto his face. Stern simply chooses to indulge Yangchen's patience, spinning at incredible speeds before launching a fully formed Twister at it's opponent. Yangchen is buffeted by the attack, ripped from side to side within the turbulent construct, before it finally passes. Yangchen's grin intensifies. He coats his right fist in Electric- type energy, swooping low before delivering yet another brutal Thunderpunch to Stern's body. The Staryu makes a noise which can only be considered a screech of pain, as his health is slowly smashed away.

Stern fell near his final third this round, while Yangchen has finally entered his second, and is quickly approaching the halfway mark. Stern all but requires a one mover next round, while Yangchen is feeling fresh following his own breather.

EmeraldGoblin 02-12-2014 05:42 PM

Sludge bomb as you ascend out of his reach. Then use a clear smog.

Akanjão 02-12-2014 09:12 PM

Secret Power!

Connor 02-13-2014 08:07 AM

The round begins with Yangchen slowly drifting upwards, while spewing out multiple orbs of Sludge like material. The orbs harden in mid air, exploding viciously on contact with Stern's body. The poisonous Bombs leave the Staryu coated in a thick, poisonous substance, but it seems entirely undeterred by the nasty goo. Coating on of it's arms in a pink aura once again, Stern goes spinning through the air rapidly, slamming the energy coated appendage into Yangchen. This time, the Haunter is not so lucky. He looks around blankly, before frowning, the Confusion he's feeling clearly having addled his mind. The Haunter concentrates hard, before his face lights up with a malevolent grin. Fighting through the confusion, he spews yet another small gob of poison towards Stern, the Clear Smog attack causing the Staryu to issue a disgruntled noise of pain.

Yangchen is hovering just above the halfway mark now, but is looking pretty confused. Stern is refreshed following his break, but has entered his final third. Things will be pretty tight from here.

Akanjão 02-13-2014 11:12 AM

Twister followed by Swift! If he uses a super-effective move, switch the latter for a Protect

EmeraldGoblin 02-13-2014 11:15 AM

Set off a sludge bomb after twister. Follow up with energy ball after he uses swift.

Connor 02-13-2014 01:12 PM

The round begins with Stern once again rotating his body wildly, using the remainder of his Flying- type energy to generate a towring Twister. Yangchen is buffeted severely by the turbulent gust, but waits patiently for the vicious construct to pass by. As soon as it does, he spews forth multiple balls of Sludge, which career towards Stern. The Staryu has little place to turn as the poisonous Bombs explode all around it, and a screeching noise of pain can be heard emanating from the Staryu. Incensed, Stern spews forth a stream of small stars, the Swift attack quickly permeating Yangchen's body. The Haunter frowns momentarily, but his malevolent grin quickly retakes shape on his face. He holds his hands out before him, condensing and moulding his remaining Grass- type Energy into the shape of a sphere. Lobbing the Ball forward, his grin escapes into a laugh as Stern keels over from the impact, finally being defeated.

Stern is unable to battle! Akanjao, your final Pokemon please.

Yangchen fell into his final third this round, but just barely. He's beginning to tire again however, and could use a small breather.

Akanjão 02-13-2014 05:47 PM

Bah... T.T
I'm already fucked up, so!

Go, Logan! Shadow Claw, Dark Pulse

EmeraldGoblin 02-13-2014 06:05 PM

Use dazzling gleam as you ascend out of his reach. Follow up with Psychic.

Connor 02-14-2014 09:17 AM

The round begins with Stern being recalled to it's Pokeball, the opposition trainer grinning widely at his Haunter's success. Stern's trainer considers his options briefly, before sending his next Pokeball spinning forward, the orb opening quickly to reveal the figure of a Pancham. Logan flexes his muscles quickly, turning his attention to the opponent before him. Rushing forwards he channels a huge amount of Ghost- type energy in his palm, his fresh nature allowing him to surprise Yangchen and close the distance before the Haunter can react. Grinning, Logan jumps skyward, striking Yangchen solidly with a Shadow Claw. The Haunter grimaces in pain as the lingering energy strikes his system, before beginning to ascend slowly. Yangche grimaces considerably, before letting loose a Dazzling burst of energy. The magical energy Gleams briefly in the air, before quickly convalescing into Logan's body, soliciting a sharp screech of pain from the Pancham. Gritting his teeth, Logan allows Dark- type energy to bubble to the surface of his body, the energies writhing and fluctuating over his skin. With a defiant cry, he sends the energy towards Yangchen in a arcing Pulse, and the Haunter slumps to the floor as the energies blaze through his system.

Yangchen is unable to battle! EmeraldGoblin, your final Pokemon please.

Logan had a pretty intensive round, but remains looking fresh. He's fell a good way through his first third, and has enough Ghost- type energy to fuel another Shadow Claw, and enough Dark- type for another Dark Pulse.

EmeraldGoblin 02-14-2014 09:29 AM

tahno, take the stage.

start off the ground with a thunderbolt. follow up with scald.

Akanjão 02-14-2014 12:56 PM

Get him with a Storm Throw! Then, Circle Throw followed by a Grass Knot!

Connor 02-15-2014 02:57 PM

Yangchen is returned to his Pokeball, and is quickly replaced by the opposition trainer's own Staryu - this one named Tahno. The Staryu floats, suspended off the ground, before enacting it's orders. It begins to gather huge amounts of Electric- type energy, it's entire body becoming enshrouded by a thin veil of yellow. With a startling cry, Tahno sends the condensed energy arcing forwards, a vicious Thunderbolt crashing into Logan. The Pancham grimaces, before a slight grin crosses his face. He charges forward, slamming his fist into Tahno's body, before grabbing the Staryu's arms and slamming it into the ground. The Storm Throw leaves Tahno noticeably stunned, and Logan capitalises on this fully. Grabbing the Staryu's exposed arms, he plants his feet firmly, before launching Tahno into the air. The stunned Staryu has no time to respond as it slams into the ground, a sharp cry of pain escaping from it's body. Floating back into the air, Tahno spews a stream of Scalding water at Logan, the Pancham crying out in agony from the boiling water as it washes over him. He shakes his fur, before channelling Grass type energy into the ground before him. While this has the effect of causing the grass underneath Tahno to rapidly grow and form a Knot, the Staryu's elevated position leaves the attack useless, and Logan frowns at having wasted precious energy.

Logan is into his second third, quickly approaching the halfway mark. He's exhausted after the three mover, and will require a break.

Tahno took two solid hits this round, and is quickly moving through it's first third. The Staryu is looking fresh however.
