UPN PASBL: Slash V Big
Slash (c) vs Big (a)
Single Battle
Equilevel 1
48 HR DQ
Indoor Rock Arena

Rock: [Indoors/Outdoors] A simple arena, the Rock arena consists primarily of fairly easily manipulated soil. The ground underfoot is rife with rocks and other such minerals, meaning attacks such as Stealth Rock work with impunity, and attacks such as Earthquake will transmit readily. The main aspect setting the Rock arena apart is the numerous boulders interspersed across the field. These will provide ample cover for most smaller Pokemon, and are open for manipulation. This includes being used to fuel attacks such as Rock Slide, as well as being able to be thrown by some stronger Pokemon. Within reason, if one of the batters mentions positioning of a rock, the battler is considered to be correct unless it contradicts a previous statement.

Let's play with some of these toys

Selena: Sandslash Lv 1 (F)
Sig: Special Attack: Lunar Blade (FA)
Selena slashes with a flurry of Fairy energy-coated blades at the foe. This attack does considerable damage for significant energy. Any defensive boosts the foe has are negated for this attack (this does not carry over, it only affects this move. It also does not negate things such as sigs or SCs that reduce the damage from Fairy-typed damage specifically, such as a Hitmonchan's sig that makes it take neutral damage from Fairy moves). She can use this twice per battle. She loses access to Seismic Toss and Night Slash.

Aurora: Flygon Lv 2 (F) (uplevel)
Hidden Power Fighting
Sig: Special Training: The Cold Never Terrible Memed Me Anyway
Aurora has gone from having a 3x weakness to Ice to taking neutral damage from the type. However, she has lost her immunity to Electric, taking neutral damage from the type. This has also left her with a 2x weakness to Bug, however.

Hero: Heatmor Lv 1 (M)
Hidden Power Bug
Sig: Special Training: Steam Healer (WA)
Hero uses heavy Water energy to shoot a plume of steam from his mouth or tail at the foe. This deals heavy Water damage to the foe. It restores 75% of damage dealt back to his own health. As a drain, it is subject to the diminishing returns of all drain moves. However, he loses access to Superpower and Belch. He can use this move twice per battle.

Scarlet Rain: Alolan Golem Lv 1 (M) (Red)
Hidden Power Bug

Dugthreesome: Alolan Dugtrio Lv 1 (Male, Male, and Male)
Hidden Power Electric

Marvell: Espeon Lv 1 (F)
Sig: Special Attack: Burning Resolve (NO)
Using solid energy, Marvell creates a wave of energy and shoots it at the foe. This deals good damage and carries a 30% chance to cause burns. While a Normal-typed move, as an Espeon, she will also be able to use it in a Psychic variant. However, she does not want to be slowed down, so she has lost access to Curse.

It's not always rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along. Not a full Ground squad, not today, not yet.

Ah, missed the equilevel part. Ah well. I still get levels. GL Slash and thanks for reffing EK

Percival Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III: Level 1 Male Rowlet

Raishan: Level 1 Female Sandalit

Ruby: Level 1 Female Anorith

Grog: Level 1 Male Crabrawler

I'll start with Gabriel.

Slash 01-08-2017 06:45 AM

Of course, use my fucking birth name against me.

Marvell, come on out. Give a Psychic Burning Resolve to start, then Hidden Power. Keep some distance if possible.

biggggg5 01-08-2017 12:08 PM

Let's do a bulldoze to interrupt the burning resolve then follow up with an icy wind

Eliteknight 01-11-2017 07:45 PM

Round 1: Ill edit in SC later
Two trainers walk into the rock arena. They both know the drill and send out their first pokemon.

From Slash we have Marvell the Espeon

From Big we have Gabriel the Piloswine

Gabriel and Marvell face each other. Marvell makes the first move she gathers some psychic energy preparing to send it towards Gabriel however the Piloswine begins to cause a bulldozing effect throughout the arena. The shaking causing Marvell to lose her focus and her attack becomes interrupted by the shaking while she takes some damage from the attack. Marvell looks at Gabriel the fur covered pokemon standing a fair distance from her. She gathers in some psychic energy and sends off her hidden power at her foe. The orbs fly through the air collding with Gabriel for some damage as he opens his mouth and lets loose a cold icy wind which washes over Marvell chilling her.

Both took damage, Marvell more so. Both good for two

biggggg5 01-11-2017 11:33 PM

Let's go for ice beam and then do pin it wil a body slam

Slash 01-13-2017 01:20 AM

Use a Psychic Burning Resolve again, and keep some distance. When he comes at you, let's pretend he's a bull and you're a toreador. Ole! as you use his momentum and telekinetic Psychic to throw him over your head and slam him into the ground behind you

Eliteknight 01-17-2017 07:29 PM

Round 2:
Gabriel looks upon Marvel the Espeon whom is clearly unhappy with him for interrupting their attack the previous round. However this time Gabriel wishes to press his advantage. Gathering ice energy he sends a beam of ice at the Espeon it collides with Marvel pushing her back from the force behind the ice attack. Marvel gathers energy and sends a wave of psychic energy the with a Burning Resolve the wave collides with Gabriel burning him across his face. He is pushed back by the wave but quickly establishes the size difference will be in his favour. He rushes forwards gaining speed as he approaches Marvell whom uses a telekinetic psychic to lift him into the air causing him to miss Marvell and slam face first into the ground. Gabriel cringes from his burn.

Both sides took some damage. Both remain in the first. Both good for two

Slash 01-18-2017 09:25 PM

Use your psychokinetic powers to Tickle him from range, using your psychic powers to cause the sensation. Gabriels hate being tickled. Then, just keep your distance, but if he approaches you, throw a Psychic wave at him

biggggg5 01-18-2017 11:56 PM

Let's set up a cubic light screen and follow up with a Blizzard

Eliteknight 01-20-2017 01:34 PM

Round 3:
Marvel looks upon Gabriel from afar she uses her psychic powers to tickle the great Piloswine causing him to lower his attack stat and his defensive ability. However Gabriel decides to simply use a fair chunk of psychic energy to create a cubic light screen around himself increasing his special defence greatly! Marvell sees her foe's newly found special defence prowess and gathers a chunk of psychic energy and sends it in a wave form at Gabriel pushing him back but he stands tall following the attack before inhaling and gathering in ice energy summoning forth a blizzard which washes over the battlefield colliding with Marvel for some powerful damage. Gabriel cringes from his burn.

Marvel has fallen into the 2nd, as has Gabriel. Both would appreciate breathers, Gabriel Moreso

biggggg5 01-24-2017 12:23 AM

Lets go for an amnesia

Slash 01-24-2017 03:12 PM

Iron Tail once

Eliteknight 01-27-2017 01:03 AM

Round 3: Steel Tail
Gabriel and Marvell look upon each other panting as they do so, Marvell begins to advance upon Gabriel as he uses some energy to increase his special defence to the max, between the amnesia and the light screen Marvell will have some difficulty dealing special based damage. However Marvell has no intention of attacking with special based attacks coating her tail in steel energy he smacks Gabriel with a forceful smack of the tail causing the Piloswine to back up following the hit grunting from the hit, his burn flares up as he backs away.

Gabriel is progressing through the second quite quickly. Marvell went unharmed. Both good for two

Slash 01-30-2017 05:49 AM

Keep some distance as you Psychock twice. If he tries to pin you, forgo the second to hurl him away with some Telekinetic Psychic

biggggg5 02-01-2017 01:34 AM

Go for an ice beam then blizzard as you passively try to close the distance between you.

Eliteknight 02-02-2017 06:11 PM

Round 4: Stab spam.
Marvell looks upon her foe, backing up slightly she begins to gather energy. Gabriel begins approaching Marvell as he too gathers energy. Marvell knowing her foe's special defensive stats are off the charts currently she decides to manipulate her energy to deal physical damage. Marvell sends her energy dealing damage to Gabriel pushing him back somewhat as he fires off a beam of ice causing it to collide with Marvell whom continues to back away from the Piloswine.

Marvell looks at Gabriel realising she has found a way to really put the hurt on him once again gathers in some energy manipulating it once again sending a psyshock at Gabriel whom is gathering a very large amount of energy, he grunts in pain before unleashing a blizzard upon Marvell dealing a very large amount of ice damage but not causing any freezing to occur.

Gabriel is now into the final third. Marvell isnt too far behind. Both good for two, although Gabriel will face short term exhaustion.

biggggg5 02-28-2017 06:57 PM

Earth power. If the first one doesn't hit do a second one

Slash 03-08-2017 01:45 AM

Use telekinetic Psychic to levitate yourself and dodge that Earth Power, and, since he started to close the distance, use it to jump onto his back. Then Iron Tail him from atop him. Try to stay on top of it if you can, without using a third move to stay there.

Eliteknight 03-10-2017 01:10 PM

Round 5: Levitation!
Gabriel looks upon Marvel gathering in ground energy sending it into the ground towards the Espeon whom uses psychic energy to float up in the air and go towards Gabriel. The earth power erupts from the ground right below Marvel it reaches her but only barely causing her to be pushed up higher and onto Gabriel's back. Marvel quickly follows up with an iron tail upon Gabriel causing him to howl in pain;as the round ends he feels some burning.

Gabriel is into critical health. Marvell is just outside the final third. Marvel wouldnt mind a break Gabriel is good for two

Slash 03-28-2017 07:32 AM

Psychic wave him up to twice

biggggg5 04-01-2017 05:35 PM

Protect from one of the psychics and then Earthquake

Eliteknight 04-02-2017 02:51 PM

Round 6: Short and Sweet
Gabriel Used Protect!
Marvell used Psychic!
Gabriel Protected himself!
Marvell used Psychic!
Gabriel is unable to battle!

Marvell went unharmed, she would like a breather

biggggg5 04-02-2017 02:58 PM

Let's go for Percival. Start with razor leaf and follow up with energy ball
