Welcome to my world, Connor. XD If you're confused, the Roggenrola core that is inside Coselle (which has been re-powered by humanity) once belonged to the Roggenrola's mother, and Roggenrola now thinks that Coselle is her mother.

...Maybe it would be better if you asked Keith, since the conversation between him and Marion has died down. XD

It makes sense though, doesn't it? Coselle is no longer "dead" because of the core, but the core is within her, and if it's enough to confuse Roggenrola, then it should be enough to confuse the Pokedex, I would think. That said, it certainly doesn't get Coselle off the hook, now, does it?
