Hey, Dragonite learn ThunderPunch at level 1, so August would know that move automatically. You might want to change it to another MT move in the Calendar thread.

Oh, yeah, there's Frillish in the wild in Virbank City, but you'll need to trade in something with Surf to get them that early.

Well, I personally downloaded Pokemon Dream Radar, and had a Drifloon on my team in time for the first Gym (fat lot of good that did- Ghost's immunity to Normal means nothing when every single Pokemon in the Gym knows Bite, and trust me, I mean every single Pokemon in the Gym). Earliest one without Dream Radar, however, would be Yamask in Relic Castle, available after just three badges. What you may find even more interesting, however, is that there are wild Banette in this game.

I forgot to ask you in my PM: I JUST got Black 2, and I was wondering what the earliest ghost-type I can encounter is and where I can find it. I want a ghost type for my team ASAP. :3
