The latter. If you hit 150 TP and burn it to get SP you won't get another TP slot until you hit 200, but you won't lose slots.

Just checking something, every 50 tp you get an addition slot correct, should you transfer your tp into sp and get below 50 do you lose the slot or keep it and just not get another new slot?
