It seems as though the current storyline in my Secret Base is winding down a lot, so would you be OK with me posting to start the party for Albus?

I actually like my Trainer character to be a lot like me, too, except my character's in a bit better shape than me. Also, the Weezing doesn't have any real-life counterpart, I just picked Koffing as my starter because Weezing is my favorite Pokémon. Sorry about your cat, though.
