Release date is the 5th of this month (in the US at least). From what I heard, the game actually takes place between 1 & 2. Either way, the game looks amazing! The graphics are obviously topnotch and the game seems to be keeping with Devil May Cry 3's "OMG! THIS IS HARD!" factor of fun.
Who else plans on buying it?

I got my copy yesterday along with the new Twisted Metal! Only paid $50 for DMC4 to. Take that evil $60 pricepoint! I thought Capcom had disowned DMC2? During the install series recap they spoke of its story and characters. btw It really did take 20 minutes to install! Anyhow I've played through a few missions so far and suck as usual but am also having fun as usual! I should've paid more attention to the tutorial cause I don't really get Nero's heat sword thingie. I just wanna know when I get to play as Dante!

LOL, I paid $0.13 for DMC4 after using gift cards and store credit.
I haven't played it yet, but it's on top of my things to do list.

I played for a little while. I find it pretty redunkulous that the main enemy soldiers are evil pinatas filled with bugs with scythes for a random limb. It's like fighting a lot of Oogie-Boogies from A Nightmare Before Christmas.

Gah to much screwing around the last month so the other day I restarted this since I wasn't far in. Did up to mission 4 so far and got my first two ever "accomplishments" lol. Mission 3 was pretty long with to many spots where you just ran through open empty areas with stuff that looked like you could/should investigate but couldn't so it prolly took me alil longer cause of that confusion. The second boss was a big weirdo but beaten more easily then the first. So far so good!

I'm on Mission 12 so far. Pretty fun thus far. I haven't done all of the Secret Missions. They're pretty annoying sometimes. Especially the one where you have to get a C-Rank Style without attacking. WTF?
Anyway, Nero's past becomes much more apparent (although, still vague) after he gets himself a certain Devil's Arms.

I finally finished this up the other week. That dice game at the end and final boss got alil infuriating but otherwise I loved it all! Nero >>>>>>>> Dante for reals!
