Relationship tips...

Yeah. Sup guys. I'm lazy and don't log on much, I know. But that's not my fault. Well, okay, it is.

So anyhow...yeah, while I was on my little...break...I gots me a girlfriend.

I have a problem, however. Sometimes I have a rush of emotion and I want to tell her 'I love you', but I ALWAYS avoid saying it as tempting as it sounds, be it as because I'm not yet old enough to completely understand what it means yet, and neither is she.

I'm lookin to get all the advice I can on this little fiasco, because it's silly for one to just say "I REALLY REALLY LIKE YOU BUNCHES LOLZ". So...yeah. :P

Don't worry, I'm not going to say I love you, because that's beyond us at the moment. But I need a good substitute for expressing my feelings for her.

Um ... what? O_o I don't see why you wouldn't tell somebody you think you love and who you want to realize that you love, "I love you." :? I understand your reasoning behind not using those words ("I'm too young, I don't really know what love is :cry: "), but dude, you gotta let her know what you're feeling. A relationship is about two people together as one, not two individuals going at it alone. Relationships aren't like playing 2P video games or going to the movies and talking about it afterwards with a friend; a relationship is ... is like a team. Built on trust and understanding, not on lies or illusions. She needs to know how you feel, and you need to know the same, otherwise it's all fake smoochey-smoochey dating.

It's just that, though; I want to say it, but my friend told me I shouldn't say it unless it's a person I'm absolutely sure I want to spend the rest of my life with, but I'm not exactly sure about that (I'm still only 17, give me another year or two at least.... :P)

Yeah, she was really nice. Plus we had a common interest. But I realize that internet 'dating' doesn't work out 90% of the time, but she had already left UPN without warning by the time I figured it out. Which sucked, mind you, but now we can look back and have our laughs...

I've been a member of Bulbagarden for over 9 years...wow. Then it shut down temporarily when I was like ten (I only went back about a year ago, and found it boring so I left after making an account (only one person remembered me!), and then I went message board-less for about three years. I believe I joined UPN when I was either 13 or early 14...and now I'm 17.

Also, I remember a fellow named Archaic at Bulba that I've seen around here a few times...so yeah, I've known him since I was like, what, 8? XD
