Wow, alot of changes have occured in the four months I've been offline. Like this new board though, It's the same type board used over at Gaia. Just got over Otakon where for once I spent less time in the Dealer's Room & more time, chatting & playing cards. Anyway I now live in a basement apartment with my two cats. Have my own shower, kitchen & bedroom for $450.00 a month. & don't have to pay utilities! Life's finally looking up for a change. And it's good to be back. ~Darthy624 formally Pikachu624~ :mrgreen:

Dude! Last we heard of you was that sad, sad story. Don't think that we have forgotten -- our thoughts are still with you, man. :cry: But anyway! :) It's good to see such a happy post from you -- I guess you're hanging in there and have managed to find a place of your own *and* a way to pay the bills. Good job. :1

You just missed Loki -- he was at Otakon, too. It's a shame you guys didn't have a chance to arrange a meeting there. Oh well, maybe next year. :)

$450 a month for rent and all utilities does not seem too bad at all. My only question would be what does the old woman do for Internet? Do you share it with her via router, or does she let you have your own line? I'm at an apartment up here at Lafayette (or rather, I will be in two weeks), and I pay $470 for rent + all utilities except electric, cable Internet, and phone. So it will probably come out to be around $600 a month once I'm done. Not to mention the additional cost of groceries, gasoline, and car insurance. :cry: My only consolation is how much money and, more importantly, time I save by having my own private washer and dryer in my apartment. I look forward to that.

Why the name change? Do you use it at other communities? Is it because some idiot stole your original name? Just curious, since you changed the Pikachu but kept the numbers.

My jaw is dropping, Namek. Seriously. Even in DAVIS, right next to campus, utilities included, the price doesn't exceed $800 so long as one has a roomate or two to cut down the total price. D:
