An thats how it all went down! Two bombs dropped this week neither of which seem all that great for Nintendo. wtf are they doing over there? At this point I'm convinced 3rd parties are just fucking with them. They gave them the launch period which failed miserably and caused many to start pulling out. Now they're caving in and giving them more controls! To be fair Nintendo was stupid not to have 2 sticks from the start after all the PSP bitching over the years but still. Somehow I'm sure even this will lead to less genuine support.

Does what I put read like something that belongs in a news post @_@? I only try to post about PKMN related news stuff an while Nintendo systems are very related to PKMN I dun think my lol rage post fits the bill to well hehe!

Good on you for holding out! I've never been day 1 for any system launch aside from the GBA SP. What the last round of systems and handhelds have taught me is waiting beyond year 1 may be a good idea. Specially if you're cheap/poor like me!

It's not a brand-new 3DS model (yet), it's an add-on for existing 3DSes. To be honest, I could see this remaining a completely optional peripheral just as easily as I could also see it being a sign of things to come in the inevitable hardware reversion that shall be 3DS Lite.

But yeah. It's stuff like this that totally reaffirms my belief that it's madness to buy a Nintendo handheld at launch. Did it with the GBA, got slightly screwed but not too bad. Didn't do it with the DS, reaped hella good benefits since DS Lite is sooooooo much better than DS Phat. 3DS? Totally waiting. No rush.

Whaaaat? Is my timeline of the big moments in the 3DSs life off?? I'm exagerating the death part alil but its all in good fun ^.^ The PS3s already been R.I.P.'d twice at the very least lol (leap year bug, psn hack). NoA denied the DSi or XL release in the west right until the bitter end. Nintendo as a whole will deny any new model 3DS in the short-term due to wanting them big holiday sales moneys.

Many people think these additional controls will be a mandatory part of the first revision and thereafter. Can we prove it? No only time will do or not do that! Miyamoto supposedly didn't want a second stick. 3rd parties did. Now there is one! Thinking it now exists and will stay optional doesn't add up. I mean really will Nintendo make this addon thing for each 3DS revision to come or will they simply make it part of the systems from now on?

The drastic measures being taken and poor sales make pretty sure a 'complete' 3DS is on the way. There are so few 3DS owners right now Nintendo can afford to make the added controls mandatory. Cause a few million people is nothing compared to what previous handhelds have sold and those people now have the option to "upgrade"!

Those pics are crazyness! An I didn't wanna post it as news! Someone else could do a better writeup and make a post if they want! I dunno if ya should complain to much about launch PS3s since those are apparently all doomed like 360s were back in the day. Mines still alive 4 years later but that may only be cause outside of the first year I've hardly used it in comparison to other systems but someday... ;_;
