Funny you should mention this. I was just looking for info on the RAZR² V8 or V9, because I was told (by a clerk in March 2007) to wait until "summer" for this phone to come out if I didn't want to be the RAZR V3 in the only color they offered -- brick red. So I waited, forgot about it, remembered, and looked it up. And it looks like it's going to be crazy expensive. Like, $599 expensive. Like, "Why would I pay that much for a cell phone? O_o" expensive. So I think the cell phone guy was a preppie piece of rich shit, and I need to just go to Wal-Mart and find a good Nokia model for like $80.

I like my cell phone (even though it's battery life really really really sucks), it's too old and blocky for anyone to want to steal.

I got the cheapest possible entry level cellphone from motorola. It is completely featureless, but looks nice and is very well constructed.

Name and model number, my main man. I will look into it when I go to the store. If it works, it works. I like how sexy the RAZR looked, but I don't need (or even want) a [strike:75479]shitty[/strike:75479] 2 megapixel camera, 2 GB HDD, or web browser on my phone. If I end up needing something like that, I'll get a Blackberry like every other doctor and med student's got.

Is that the phone that has amazing battery life?

First thought: "Hee hee! It looks cute! :)"
Second thought: "That sounded gay, Talon. :x Quick! Think something else!"
Third thought: "Sumomo!"
Fourth thought: "Hahahaha. :P "

Motoral W315, huh? I see buttons, I see a receiver, I see a screen ... looks good. Next question: how good/bad is its reception?

Well, that really has more to do with your provider and their coverage than the phone. But I haven't had any real problems. There were some dropouts when I was talking to my mom today, but I think that was because she was using her cell phone from our house, which is down in a pit, and not because of anything wrong on my end.

I have had three phones since Freshman Year of College and they've all cost me nothing. Either it was $X with a $X rebate or it was literally free.
