I was looking for mini sprites a week or so ago for gen 5 but couldn't find any animated ones.

Also I'll need 14 to add.

Bulbapedia usually has them up. Just go to the Pokémon's page and go down to where the sprites are near the bottom, there's usually a little humpy sprite of the 'mon just underneath.

Also may we make suggestions, pretty please?

Also someone want to post better sprites than some of the gen 4 ones we have? Some of the gen 4 ones look kind of gray on the border.. not a big fan of that.

Also if you suggest something, post the freaking icon with it. >O The less work for me the better.

Nah, I'm recoloring them to match the sprite color (which is what FB did). It doesn't take all that long. I can post the frames if someone doesn't mind animating them.

The trick FB does with the outlines is it switches the dark grey outline to black and the light grey outline to dark grey - hence why they have grey outlines.

Also this isn't so much a democracy, but rather try to convince me what is cool. Those 5 are pretty much my favorites anyway, the rest I'll leave up to you guys.

Eelektross is cool because it's a badass elelectric lamprey and is also my fave Gen V 'mon.

Scolipede is a massive centipede, making it cool by default, and would give us a better Poison-type (only current ones are Bulbasaur and Weedle).

Volcarona is a freaking sun-moth and everyone loves it.

Of ones others have suggested, I'd go for Reuniclus, Scraggy, Stunfisk, Accelgor, Snivy and Archeops, to make up the 9, but I suspect I'll get countermanded. Would like at least one of Eelektross and Scolipede though ;;

Why is he awesome?
He's a garbage bag poison-type Pokémon, yet he still manages to be cute. He has a nice shape and design and fits in with the older Pokémon. Most of the chosen icons are fully-evolved Pokes. He's also a personal favourite.

Why should he be an icon?
Lack of existing Poison-Type icons, his humpy sprite manages to highlight all of his features, his icon would be suitable for a lot of thread relating to the environment, waste or just something disgusting.
