A forgotten Anime

So.
I'm not sure how long ago I remember watching this anime, it was probably five or so years ago. I was watching tv and a show came on with a young boy and this velociraptor/dino robot thing. I don't remember much besides that, sometime later in the series some chick slides into a larger robot's tail and fires some sort of weapon out of it.

Pretty sure I sound like a wack job trying to explain this, but whatever.

It's probably Zoids Zero or Zoids Chaotic Century, more likely the latter.
