I was linked to this earlier in the day. (Actually, not the original but the remastered one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbRDeqfSx9U).)

Didn't care for it. Vulgar and ridiculous. But for those for whom vulgar and ridiculous are enough, then this will be the latest in viral comedy gold. (see edit below)

Oh ... also? This should probably carry a disclaimer. Ages 14+? 17+? I dunno, you tell me. The cursing probably warrants a lower rating, but the bestiality and pedophilia would warrant higher ratings. Whatever -- no one ever obeys age caps anyway. :roll: *sigh*

What's funny about the black guy video isn't necessarily the content...he's saying things people have been saying on forums for years, perhaps less humourously (save that he's doing it in person and in one take). It's that he's so obviously middle-class and sheltered, but is trying to pass himself off as a "street kid" who just happens to have unusual taste. His way of talking is pure imitation and and he's loud persona is basically "I'm big, black, and politically incorrect, b**ch!".

I went to freshman seminar with a guy like that (physically resembled the video guy too), he was anime obsessed, large and loud, but tried to pass himself off as a guy who grew up on inner-city streets. He'd say funny stuff though...like use his name as an adjective.

Whereas your video is more focused on the Pokemon, the guys aren't being deliberately vulgar or offensive, they're just commenting on the movie.

I was reading about 5th Gen Ditto today on Smogon (http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79160) when one thing led to another and before I knew it I had googled (no quotes) "gengar nasty plot". This link (http://www.pokemongts.com/showthread.php?tid=66933) was one of the links on the first page and it caught my eye. So I clicked on it to read what was inside and ... LOL. Wow. Not wow at the sweep (which was fairly "been there, done that, good for you chap :D but no I'm not impressed :roll:"), but wow at the opponent's reaction to it all throughout the match.

Early to Mid-Game:
* opponent keeps spamming Hypnosis against a sub
* player takes the opportunity to get +6 to speed

Mid- to Late Game:
* starts to accuse the player of cheating; asks what is going on
* player takes the opportunity to Nasty Plot twice more (had done so once earlier with Celebi)

Late Game:
* opponent finally realizes that yes, it was a Plusle you were losing to, and no, Hypnosis does not bypass substitutes :roll:

Best part of the exchange has got to be:

Dumb/unlucky AI also happens all the time, but wild Gastly using Curse after I just used an attack that depleted over half their health? Never gets old for me.
