Happy memorial day weekend everyone! So what does everyone have planned for it? Myself, since I am sorta sick I am going to stay inside ingesting ungodly amounts of cold medicine, and franticly worrying if I am going to pass my visa requirements and obtain my visa to study in Indonesia.

What kind of job do you have? If you work for the hospitality industry such as myself, then I really feel pity and hope you get outta work asap. Memorial day weekend is horrible for the hotel industry, due to all the workload you get on it. Anyways I'll be enjoying my week long vacation (well apart from going to chicago and seeing if I get my visa or not), so have fun at work. :D

I'm going to be making dinner for a cute girl and watching a lesbian flick with her. :)

I'd like to come to that dinner too.

Sadly, I will be working this weekend and all week long.

Namek's reply was awesome. Succinct and unexpected from him.

KV, is this the same girl you mentioned before who I assumed was a girl you wanted to date and you told me I had the wrong idea? Or is this cute girl a different girl? And in either case, is this girl your actual gf or are you two not there yet? Good luck ... and seriously, cute lesbians are hard to find and make Talon a sad panda ... because they'd be better as cute bisexuals.

(Sometimes I wonder ... would life be better for all of us if 100% of men and women were bisexual?)

Well, I interpret a person's sexuality as being in a gray area although focussed on one side.

Had lamb heart and fries for brunch. Did Fizzy Bubbles stuff (it's the end of the world!). Watched two good episodes of Naruto. Went out to buy a bookshelf. Bought said bookshelf, some assembly required. Just finished putting together the frame an hour ago, only to find (during the past 60 minutes) that the cardboard you're supposed to fasten to the back to give the mammoth shelves some sort of protection from sheer forces (see image) (http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g92/talon87/shitty_bookshelf.jpg) doesn't fit. (Again, see image.)

So, right now, I'm pissed off, because this bookshelf was supposed to be fucking sweet, but instead it's been a fucking pain in the ass and a waste of $30. (I don't want to disassemble only to be told by Target "No returns, sir," so it's basically $30 gone since I refuse to disassemble it.) I'm debating right now between buying shitty plywood at Lowe's and having a really fugly backing to my maplewood bookshelf -OR- between spending $30 additional just for pseudo-maplewood backing that Lowe's might sell. (7 feet tall, 3 feet wide, 1/4 inch thick)

I worked on editing a sermon all day, drove over and delivered it, and then sat around feeling tired and depressed for the rest of the day.

3 day weekend = nice
Being made to hang around outside cooking out for almost the entirety of it = >.<

I didn't get ta kick much butt in the PSU event which had just started and it slightly affected some of my website work but the food was yummy and I had a fun time playing with fireworks and stuff.
