And that alone just seems suicidal to me. You BARELY managed to beat the game with your Level 85 Smeargle. I don't think you will be able to beat the game with a mono run with a baby, even were you to get that baby up to Level 100.

Think about it. Cleffa can't learn the moves necessary to take Brawly down. You're going to need to have her be Level 50+ just to be able to handle his Level 16 Machop. :roll:

Sometimes I think you just enjoy being argumentative for the lulz. Mono-run as in mono-theme (all babies) like mono-type. You knew exactly what he meant, there was no point in bringing it up.

Cleffa run gets my vote. Purely because I'd much more enjoy seeing Crystal used than the main fourth gen games.

If by "fourth gen game" you're expanding to include HGSS as well, a baby run on HGSS would be cool too. Personally I find DPPt really tedious to play through.

I vote team of babies in a fourth gen game because I think having a singular baby might be a bit too difficult and near impossible (except maybe in Crystal) due to obvious reasons of stats and moves.

But I give you props Jeri for attempting these monos, I didn't manage to catch any of your Smeargle one but I'll tune into one of these.

I decided to take this up and I watched the many different battles VS Flannery's Torkoal and the Norman battle. Very interesting. I'll definitely tune in whenever I can with whatever next mono you pick.

Ah.. things don't really work like that here. None of the mods/admins really pull rank so I like to see everyone as equal (with myself being greatest, however). People are free to say/do what they want. I picked the mods/admins and they aren't dicks.

(1) Just try to keep it so that elements can't be repeated. (e.g. you can't have Water/Fighting and also have Fighting/Dark, or you can't have Grass/Dragon and also have Dragon/Ground)

(2) Keep the starter. Gives people an attachment to like.

(3) Pick three dudes you personally like.

(4) Leave the remaining two slots open to the combination of
(a) people voting for shit all the time in the chatroom and
(b) what you need at that moment (e.g. if you picked the Grass/Dragon starter and you don't already run a fighter, you'll probably want one for Drayano's Ice gym if I had to guess)

I dunno. Instead of making it too much of a science, let's just figure it out as we you go and we chat.

I believe that is what Talon is referring to. I find in a normal playthrough of Pokemon my team naturally changes quite a bit as the early pokemon start to lose their luster, I need different types for gyms, I need HM users (specifically fly and surf usually), or I get bored.
