Check out the confirmed units, and the intro cinematic to starcraft II. It's kick ass how in the cinematic how space marines are 'created.' :)

Anyone seen any of the gameplay demos on youtube? The reaver's blink ability is awesome and will be a bitch to deal with when you fight against skilled protoss players. :O

I'm almost done beating the original Starcraft and I've got to say it's a fantastic game. But looking at SCII's videos, it looks like the same terrible trash Warcraft III ended up being. :/

I mean, for one, the art is awful. Metzen is like George Lucas - the more he writes, the weaker his ideas become. I'm also very unhappy with a new design team and how the design team, made up of Starcraft fanboys themselves, are always butting heads with fans who weren't fortunate enough to get drafted into the game making process.

SCII looks like a real mess, and is probably going to only reinforce my mindset that "Blizzard hasn't been good since 1999". D2 might have been a disappointment compared with the original Diablo but it was exponentially better than WCIII, I mean gosh darn!

I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with you on this. I was really looking forward to SC2 but.. it looks like it will really dissapoint. I was a fan of WC2, but I really did not like WC3 at all. If this is looking to be WC3 with SC2 units then I'm not going to buy it.

Oh and don't forget the Pokemon-style packages. Gotta buy all 3 for the full story!

I'm still really excited about these games, even though they split them up and the graphics seem a bit... off... they'll still be tons of fun and worth playing.
