But most people aren't talking about the skin, I think most people are riled up about the VB4 itself. I can't search individual posts, results come up as threads rather than posts and I can't work out how to change the setting. I can't check threads started by a user, which I regularly do to check/edit my FB profile. The view todays active topics doesn't work either, which I used to rely on. Sure, there's a new posts feature but it's not nearly as useful. This is supposed to be an upgrade, so I'm they're hidden somewhere :\

I find it's not terrible though; I do kinda like the layout and some of the new features that make navigation a bit cleaner.

We are going to search for Net Ball. *type in Net Ball in keyword*
We want to check all of the Fizzy Bubbles subforums *check the "Also search in child forums" box*
We want to see the posts *checks the show posts option*
Search now *clicks the button*
Now, it will display each thread the post was made. WAIT! We want to see the post it was made in! So go to the right side where it says last post by such and such user. Click the small Umbreon icon *clicks*
It will then take you to the relevant post.

The only thing I genuinely have a problem with is that the Visitor message typing box isn't this radioactive green colour, so you're typing in black on very dark gray. Probably needs changing by whoever does the skin.

My Page Up/Down-buttons on the laptop are sometimes screwing me and acting as Home/End buttons, and thus everytime I they do that I get to the top of the whole squad summary thingy instead of the top of MY squad summary thingy which would be heaps better.

In threads like Squad Summaries, posts tend to average like 4 screens, and with mine, which is more like 10, it takes ages to load, even when it's the 3rd post in the thread.

Just noticed this that theres something seriously long with the post text! It only goes about a little over half of the table! Makes reading stuff a pain since its all squeezed together! And for really-really long posts makes the vertical scrolling that much longer x.x

Does wonders for my iTouch though ;p To be honest I've given up on trying to work this new VB, all I want to do is get my search results to show in a list of posts matching my criteria. The majority of the time the words I search (like "Dive Ball") are too short to show any results. Not to mention it usually comes up with completely unrelated thread titles that have nothing to do with my search. There's no way it's just been moved around to a more convenient format, you think they would've trialled this a few places first >>
