I set out to translate Japanese doujins not for myself but for others. For those less fortunate than me, who either lack the the time, the motivation, or the capacity to learn Japanese for themselves. To help them see what they're missing out on when they look at Japanese doujins without knowing what the words mean. From my partner, who is doing the image editing with the scripts I've provided him with:
I didn't have time to mention it before, but I'd just like to compliment you on your translation. I've really enjoyed reading it and it's transformed the doujin for me. I must confess that I originally thought Mao was quite an unexceptional book with a few panels of nice artwork but little else to interest me. Now, it's actually a sweet story that's a pleasure to read. I hope others will enjoy it as much as I have (and I hope the finished editing does it justice).
That makes it all worthwhile.

To see a beta of our doujin, enter this url into your browser. WARNING! Ages 18+ ONLY! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=URMUEMWD
Or if you would prefer to wait until the finished product is unveiled, contact me via this thread and I'll be sure to let you know when we release it. There are a few things missing from this of some importance, like my four rather large "Editor's Notes" which explain certain translations, such as the comment Mao makes on the very last page. If you're dying to see those now, I can PM them to you. (Can't post it, as it's not suitable for a family-friendly forum.)

I couldn't figure out how to get the d/l site to work :? I'm too lazy to figure out how to translate Japanese.

Our final release is only days away, so just hold tight if that link is (for some reason O_o) dead.

As for explaining how to get MegaUploads to work, you ...
1 - go to the page
2 - type the three letters in the box to the right (on the top-right corner of the screen)
3 - If some pop-up crops up, BLARGH, close it and try again from step 1. It often does this.
4 - Once you hit the button to confirm the 3 letters, it tells you to wait for 45 seconds. Do.
5 - After that, it says "Start Download". Click it.
6 - A few minutes to an hour later (depending on your Internet connection), you've got it.

Estimated filesize is ~15 MB, just to let people gauge.

But a reminder, I don't encourage you to check out the link above, since our finished product will be out soon. Like, in 3-4 days.
